The School of Business is a unique school-within-a-school program
established in 1993. Our program is made up of a core two period block class
that integrates English and Social Studies with Business and Technology. On a weekly basis, CSB students interact with the community by attending their required three
hour internship. This program has students placed in over 50 different Southern Oregon Businesses. We are housed in the Tech Center in the School of Business,
Innovation and Science.
Many School of Business students also participate in DECA, an association of marketing students. We also run Cmart, and manage the Crater High School website.
CSB Students Win Best Film in SOESD's 2010 48/48 Film Festival
Lame from Gabriel Lunte on Vimeo
The suspense film entitled Lame directed by Gabe Lunte, is a gripping tale of intrigue and murder.
Tyler Alford captivates any audience as the creepy Walter Colter. Making his film debut, Kyle Anthony plays the leading man ensnared in Walter Colter's revenge scheme. Both were nominated for best actor.
Also making her film debut, Bridget Pierce plays Sarah, a French business woman and the girlfriend of the leading man.
Many others contributed to the success of the film such as Tyler Nab (cameraman) and Corey Slocum (editing). This group of young CSB film makers undoubtedly set the bar for future film submissions in the 48/48 challenge.
